Cupid’s Undie Run 2016!

Ready to Run in my Undies!

Recently I participated in the Cupid’s Undie Run, my second time since it came to Cleveland 4 years ago. For those not familiar, the Cupid’s Undie Run was created in 2010  as a fun way to raise money and awareness for The Children’s Tumor Foundation. The Foundation is dedicated to raising money for research to end Neurofibromatosis (NF), which effects 1 out of every 3,000 births in the U.S. Over $3.5 Million was raised by the 39 cities that participated just this year!

Both times I’ve been involved it was bitter cold outside-under 20 degrees! I know what you’re probably thinking…why would you run in your undies in the  freezing cold weather?! (Unless of course you know me, then you are not shocked by this whatsoever). Sure, I could just donate money. But  braving the cold to help raise funds and awareness is nothing compared the bravery the children effected with NF (and their families) deal with on a daily basis. It’s also a really fun way to bond with your friends, family and community during Valentine’s weekend!
